I Love A Boy Who Tiptoes

I love a boy who enjoys tiptoeing on the sidelines of life and watching the chaos. In his own time on his own terms has been the theme of Whitman's life. So we walk the sideline of chaos with him.

Whitman was in chaos in the womb. I had a fibroid that the placenta attached to. Every ultrasound, and there were so many, we were told that he was a miracle. No one knew how we were pregnant or stayed pregnant with that set up.

We would say that Whitman was destined to be here he would probably be a CEO of a company or a serial killer either way we were excited to see the person he was going to be.

We had no idea what we were in for and it's all for the better.

Through chaos Whitman has fought for everything that he has. We are simple guides so he can have the life he clearly deserves. He has overcome the NICU, an intestinal infection, an MRI that caused him to stop breathing, seizures, a severe head injury while in the hospital being tested for seizures, and living a life with Apraxia and Autism.

He is the happiest kid. Especially when he's in chaos. He thrives on it.

We are honor'd to be in a community who celebrates Whit for who he is and who he will become. They don't even know the whole story and they're cheering him on. They see our chaos and they support us and the want Whitman to succeed as much as we do.

There's a boy that I love. Who likes to walk the sidelines of chaos and do things in his own time on his terms with no rhyme or reason. Just a decision to do. I'll walk the sideline of chaos with him until the end. And for that I am grateful.
